Dear Bob and everyone who took part in the raffle, 

Thank you so much for donating your fantastic art piece of Glen Hansard’s guitar and all 
the hard work that went into organising the raffle. Thank you also to AM Frames for donating 
the cost of framing the piece. And finally thank you to all those who purchased a ticket and 
made this fundraiser so successful. 

 During the winter months, families struggling to make ends meet face their toughest time 
of year. 

 But because of your kind total donation of € 1,010.00 to the Society of St. Vincent de 
Paul, you will be there to lighten their load. 

 You will be there to put hot dinner on the table, as everyone comes in out of the cold. 
You will be there to fill the house with fuel, and keep the home warm until spring. You will be 
there to pay for winter coats and bus fares, and help the children get to school. 

 You will be there in so many little ways that keep a family from tipping into poverty. 
May every happiness be yours in return for this good you have done.
